Sania Mirza is a professional female tennis player from India. She was born in Hyderabad, India and started playing tennis at the age of 6. Her father Imran, is a builder, and mother, Naseema, works in printing business. She also one sister, Anam. She's a big fan of the movie movie Ocean's 11 and her favourite actors are Brad Pitt and Hugh Grant. She loves listening to Hindi Remixes and Hip hop, includin Eminem. Other then tennis she also likes swimming and playing cricket. Also is a big admirer of Gandhi. Sania won the Wimbledon Championships Girls' Doubles title in 2003, teaming up with Alisa Kleybanova of Russia. She got a wild card entry to the 2005 Australian Open and created history by becoming the first Indian woman to enter the third round of a Grand Slam tournament. She lost in the 3rd round to eventual champion Serena Williams. On February 12, 2005, she became the first Indian woman to win a WTA singles title defeating Alyona Bondarenko of Ukraine in the Hyderabad Open Finals.

Freida Pinto not to participate the Bond Girl?

Speculations were rife that actress Freida Pinto, who shot to fame with Oscar winner SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, will step in into the shoes of a Bond girl and romance Hollywood heartthrob Daniel Craig in the next 007 movie.

Freida Pinto had a minuscule tole in Slumdog Millionaire but she gained a considerable amount of popularity after the film won a bunch of Oscars. She has been cast in Woody Allen's new flick, apart from a big budget film by acclaimed director Tarsem.

 

After a dream debut performance in Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaire”, Indian actress Freida Pinto is in Israel to shoot for a new film that focuses on the interwoven lives of a Israeli and Palestinian women from the early years of the state through the early 1990s.
