Kareena Kapoor, the style icon of Bollywood, has a list of places to visit in search of good fashion. “I have to…I’ve no choice. I’m looked at as a fashion statement,” says Bebo.

Right now, Kareena has plans to visit fashion destinations like Milan, Paris, London and New York in search of world-class fashion to stock up her wardrobe. “It becomes tiring for everything I wear to be in the media glare. I constantly need to be well-dressed,” says the actress.

Her recent release Kambakkht Ishq saw her flaunting costumes and accessories from ace designers, right from Prada to Cavalli. Kareena entirely gives the credit to designer Aki Narula for her chic, uptown, very stylish look in KI. “He went shopping for my clothes and accessories. This may be a film, but I’ve never worked harder in terms of styling…”

She is again working with Aki in Qurbaan and is full of admiration for the designer who has given her a different, special look in the movie. If it’s Aki in ‘Qurbaan’, she is bonding again with friend-cum-designer, Manish Malhotra for 3 Idiots and the ‘Stepmom’ remake. In fact, for the Indian version of ‘Stepmom’, she plans to cut her hair and to get a new make over.

In ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ she wanted to look larger than life but is equally at ease playing the girl next door like in Jab We Met or Omkara.

And she feels proud to be called “stylish”.
