Speculations were rife that actress Freida Pinto, who shot to fame with Oscar winner SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, will step in into the shoes of a Bond girl and romance Hollywood heartthrob Daniel Craig in the next 007 movie.
Freida Pinto had a minuscule tole in Slumdog Millionaire but she gained a considerable amount of popularity after the film won a bunch of Oscars. She has been cast in Woody Allen's new flick, apart from a big budget film by acclaimed director Tarsem.
After a dream debut performance in Oscar-winning “Slumdog Millionaireâ€, Indian actress Freida Pinto is in Israel to shoot for a new film that focuses on the interwoven lives of a Israeli and Palestinian women from the early years of the state through the early 1990s.
